Location: Croydon
When: once a week for three hours office hours day to be arranged
Role reports to: Progression Coach
Making a real difference in the lives of our members by helping them build social networks, improve wellbeing and build confidence as part of our member group. You will do this arranging varying activities each month, in partnership with the staff team. Activities could include: introductions to Crisis' Sessions, timetable reviews and guest speakers from local specialist services.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with a particular focus on listening
Good time-keeping and reliability
Non-judgmental, patient and friendly
An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and maintaining boundaries
Be positive, productive and have a passion to help end homelessness
* This role will be mostly on line with one monthly face to face meeting.
Feedback any challenges or opportunities that arise during session to the staff team.
We expect volunteers to comply with Crisis policies including health and safety, data protection and code of conduct at all times.
